Travel day from Edinburgh to Glasgow to Paris. We started with a small panic because we thought we weregoing to be late (in the end, Stephen had just miscalculated, so we were actually fine for time). After hopping on and off 2 trains, a plane, a bus and the Metro, we finally arrived at our Paris hotel. We travelled with a singing contingent of Sevilla FC (Football Club) fans headed to the UEFA Cup final against Espanyol (in Glasgow) for part of our journey (lots of enthusiastic tartan-clad Spaniards). In Paris, we had a late dinner -- Stephen had "Moules a la Provencale" (mussels) and Christina had "La Bergere" (goat's cheese salad). Stephen thinks that he is very brave. We finished off with a nice creme brulee. Our hotel room is pretty nice and clean, although Steve has to sleep diagonally to fit on to the bed and we hear the Metro rumbling below us now and again (a small price to pay for a clean and private bathroom as far as Christina is concerned!).
Go Sens go (3-1)!!
