For our last day in Paris, we decided to take it easy and stay close to the hotel where there was still plenty to do without having to trek around the city in the rain. We walked around a small artists/artisans market that was nearby and then settled in at a cafe for some brunch. Steve had yet another espresso and Christina had a super rich, super yummm "
chocolat a l'ancienne" pot of hot chocolate. After almost giving up, we found a small pub that was showing the Manchester Utd vs. Chelsea
FA Cup final which made Steve a very happy boy. At half time, Christina went out to window shop at a few fromageries, chocolateries and patisseries nearby...Mmmmmm. After a short nap, another late stroll, then dinner and a few more espressos, we got back to the hotel to rest up for the next day's travels.
Go Sens go (4-1)!!
