Colmar II

Laundry day! We tried yesterday and once in Paris to no avail, so today was definitely a laundry day (Steve had to wear his underwear inside out, yuck). We lugged our stuff to the laundromat and ended up spending a good couple of hours there -- Steve had to go on a treasure hunt around the city (Colmar is such a sleepy town that many stores/restaurants are closed all Sundays, as well as Monday mornings until around 2pm, great timing!) for detergent and the dryer took a LONG time! We checked out the bike rental shop (for tomorrow!) and cooled off in a fountain (it's finally warm here!) before stopping for another tarte flambee and heading back to the hotel for a nap -- we are exhausted again (and Christina is allergy-ful)! It feels like we've been away for ages!
Went for dinner and had Roestis (grated potato and bacon/ham covered in cream/cheese), a salad covered in prosciutto-like meat and a very large amount of local cheese, and of course some glasses of local wine. Tonight we rest up, and hopefully the weather will co-operate with us (the rain seems to be following us everywhere) for Steve's great bicycling plans tomorrow!

Hours of walking: 3

Who are these two people anyway?
